Meet Judge Colston
Judge Tami Colston is a Senior Superior Court Judge who offers expertise in a broad range of legal matters as well as extensive jury trial experience as both a litigator and Judge. Judge Colston has over 30 years of experience in dealing with a wide range of cases including domestic relations, medical malpractice, property law, employment law and personal injury. With this expertise, Judge Colston will assist you in helping your clients evaluate their cases realistically with her signature candor and compassion increasing the likelihood of a full and fair resolution.

The Process
If you have scheduled your mediation through your local court administrator, that office will send out a notice of the mediation.. If however, you schedule directly through this website you will immediately be confirmed and guaranteed the date you have chosen. You should then notify your court administrator of the mediation. You can expect a reminder email from Judge Colston a few days before the mediation and if you choose Zoom over an in-person mediation, you will receive a link at that time.

Click on the date you want and if available, book it. Judge Colston will be there. In addition, Judge Colston strives to make everything clear before, during and after the mediation so there is no question as to what was agreed to and will allow all parties to have their say and ask any questions they may have.

Mediation Services
Mediation is a non-binding, voluntary process that attempts to reach a resolution of a dispute or problem. Most courts require mediation before scheduling a case for a hearing. This process involves a neutral mediator who will assist the parties in working together toward a resolution of their dispute which saves time and money.
The process requires that all parties come to the table with an open mind, a willingness to compromise, and a skilled mediator to guide them through.

Easy Scheduling
Use our online calendar to schedule your mediation. The time blocks are 4 hours and start at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm. If you need to start at a different time just pick the time block closest to your preference and note it in the comments section on the form. Your neutral will confirm your choice with you. If you suspect that you will need more or less than 4 hours, let us know that as well.
